As a lover of travel, it only makes sense to hop on a plane to have a destination bachelorette party. Any excuse to travel is a good enough reason for me! And what better destination than Hawaii? Although we are going to celebrate our marriage, this trip is a mash-up of a few things — bachelor/bachelorette & a giant joint 30th birthday celebration bash for everyone coming along! So, what better way to get the party started than with a (Bachelorette) party survival kit?
Full disclaimer. I am extremely blessed to have an incredible group of friends who are willing to fly out to Hawaii to celebrate my husband and me. We’re married on paper and are finally having our ceremony in September! Thankfully, we were able to do it on a pretty friendly budget (but more on that in a later post!)
To show gratitude to our friends (but not spend hundreds of dollars) we decided to make travel survival kits! Every USEFUL thing you could need for a few days away! Although I initially only meant to make these kits for the girls, with a few product tweaks, we were able to make one for everyone. I love the versatility of these bags and the fact that they are things people will actually use! I always hate getting little knick-knacks that have no use or create clutter.
Clear Toiletry Bag
This clear toiletry bag is PERFECT for a destination bachelor/bachelorette party. First of all, it meets the TSA requirements for keeping liquids AND it can be used time and time again! I also love that there are a ton of different color options and that I can purchase a set of 12 for a very reasonable price. It’s simple, does not cost a ton, and the perfect size to fit in all your goodies.

Flushable Wipes
On a bachelorette trip that is go-go-go, you never know when there’s going to be a good time to “go”. I love having a bunch of flushable wipes on me just in case of emergency. I think it’s the perfect addition to the bachelorette survival kit as you never know what types of bathrooms you’re going to encounter when you’re out and about!

Individual Advil Packs
I think this one goes without explanation. Having individual packs of Advil is so genius! Whether you’re with a group of people who drink (or not) it’s always handy to have some Advil in your back pocket. You never know when you’re going to need it! I also love that there are enough individual packets for me to continue to use in my day-to-day! Super easy to throw in my purse or in my bag for my next trip! I bought my box on Amazon!
Makeup Remover Wipes
After a late night out, these makeup wipes are a nonnegotiable! There’s nothing worse than trying to do a full skincare routine when you can barely keep your eyes open. I cannot tell you the number of times these makeup wipes have saved my life! They work super well and I love how simple they are to toss into your bag. I find traveling with a conventional pack a bit bulky so this is a great solution!

Shower Wipes
These are an absolute game-changer. I first encountered these on a flight to Istanbul. My friend had one of those close-call plane boardings and was sweating profusely by the time he reached his seat. I could almost feel the stickiness set on his skin. But then, he pulled out one of these bad boys! After a few wipes across his body, he was good to go! Shower wipes are a must-have for any bachelorette survival kit — you never know what sticky situation you could find yourself in.

Hand Sanitizing Wipes
Where would the world be without hand sanitizer? When I’m in transit, I try my best to stay healthy by disinfecting what I can. There’s nothing worse than catching a cold on the way to your destination. These wipe are great not only for keeping your hands clean, they’re perfect for wiping down your tray table and entertainment console. With the turnover between flights being so short, I know there isn’t enough time to sanitize everything properly so I like to take matters into my own hands!

Sugar-Free Liquid I.V.
You already know that electrolytes are a must-have for any bachelorette party survival kit! And even more so when you’re hopping on a flight to your destination. I absolutely love that this new iteration of Liquid I.V. is sugar-free and comes in a yummy new flavor! These have been a game changer in helping to keep hydrated after a long flight or a long night out!

Scrunchies
There’s nothing worse than traveling without a hair tie! Whether you left it at home or it snapped in half mid-tie, having nothing to hold your hair back is the definition of torture and inconvenience. These scrunchies are a must-have for any survival kit. Not only are they cute, they’re functional and all your girlies will appreciate having a back-up during your fun weekend out and about! There are also a ton of colors for you to mix and match if you have a theme for the weekend!

Gum Packet
As someone who isn’t an avid gum chewer, I always find myself looking for a piece of gum when I’m traveling. Not only does it help with the annoying ear popping on the plane, it’s a nice little breath refresher after a meal. Throwing a packet of gum in the bachelorette travel kit is an easy must have!

Smiley Face Adhesives
Just as an extra decorative piece, I got these really cute smiley face adhesives to stick onto each bachelorette survival kit. It’s a super easy way to add a little something to each bag without breaking the bank!
